PROFESSOR LAYTON by Ken House

Here's my take on the man with the unusually shaped collars. I've never had a chance to play this series though i hear nothing but great things.

DOCTOR OCTOPUS by Ken House

Can't draw tonight so instead i cleaned up this doodle from last weekend, kind of an Al Hirschfeld homage type deal. It's not exactly the post i was dreaming of, but what can you do?

DOCTOR OCTOPUS by David Cutler

I've been kind of too busy to post lately, so I'm cheating here a little bit. This is a recent commission piece I did with Doc Ock at the forefront. I only did it a little while ago, and as much as I love Otto, I couldn't spare the time to draw him again just yet. As a bonus you get Sandman, Mysterio and Kraven. What more could you want?

DOCTOR OCTOPUS by Michael Walsh

Great pic this week from Ken. Really can't wait to see everyones interpretations. Unfortunately I dont have the time to throw any colour in so I did a quick ink wash to liven it up a touch.

SKINNER SWEET by Michael Walsh

I was originally going to bow out of this week, but due to the encouragement of my fellow Ballers' I decided to stay in and I'm glad I did. I havent done my grey tones traditionally with ink for a long time and thought this was a perfect piece to try it out. Had a lot of fun and ruined a pair of jeans in the process.

I've read the first trade of this series and really loved it, especially Rafael Albuquerque's art. Check it out if you haven't yet.

Also check out my Tumblr for the black and white version.

SKINNER SWEET by Ken House

Pretty busy lately and there's not a lot of time to give unhingable jawed vampires the energy they deserve. Anyway, here's this.

SKINNER SWEET by Gerard de la Costa

Skinner Sweet, the outlaw cowboy vampire from "American Vampire", is definitely the bad guy you end up rooting for. Described as cunning, ruthless and rattlesnake mean, he's the first vampire conceived on American soil but, unlike his European counterparts, he's actually powered by the sun (I lifted this right from the dust jacket -- couldn't have said it any better)!

It's such a fun read and I really was just looking for an excuse to draw the charming s.o.b.

EMMA FROST by Ken House

Here's my attempt at an Emma Frost, also at a random Bauhausian picnic basket. Psychically conjured hallucinatory picnic is the idea here.

Happy Valentines day!

EMMA FROST by Neil Tavares

Ok so I tried to go for something a little steamy. I hope I succeeded a little bit. I really dig this whole Emma/Scott thing. C'mon let's face it, Jean was no good for him. He's way too awesome. Besides, I'd take Scott over Logan any day of the week.

EMMA FROST by Maya Nord

There will always be a special place in my heart for Emma Frost. It was because of her that everyone realized what a terrible actor January Jones is.

EMMA FROST by Ferd Poblete

Guest post time! This one's from our pal Ferd who's a Toronto Drink and Draw regular and a deviantArt celebrity (a million views!). I especially love the inclusion of the mind-control telepathy wave. Must... drop... pantaloons!

Thanks, Ferd!

EMMA FROST by Gerard de la Costa

Emma Frost and Scott Summers are, to me, the Brad & Angelina of the Marvel Universe (which would make Jean Grey their Jennifer Aniston, right?).

I still haven't gotten over my disappointment of January Jones' wooden portrayal of Emma Frost in "X-Men: First Class"; the only blemish in an otherwise awesome movie! Here's hoping that they cast someone who can actually act and emote for the sequels.

Happy Valentine's Day, y'all!

EMMA FROST by meaghan carter!

Emma Frost, to me, has always come across as a high society, pampered vogue kind of woman. And gives 0 effs about it. The fur alone looks like a burlesque dancer's feather boa!

EMMA FROST by David Cutler

I've become the king of lazy colour schemes around here, haven't I?

Like every other week I say the character we're doing is my favorite something or other, but Cyke and Emma really are my two favorite X-Men and favorite comic book romance. Really great holiday theme pick from Selena!

Happy Valentimez!
