Ok, so basically I hate zombies, so i needed some encouragement. Naturally i choose the one in my mind would be able to combat them successfully. The Spirit of vengeance, The Ghost Rider. When I got on with this, I bloody well loved it! Finally wanted to see Hulk get his ass kicked!

The Fantastic Four and zombies, can't get more fun than that.
Actually, it's pretty terrifying. Forget that it's the Fantastic Four and just think of any zombie that suddenly had any one of these powers.. A flying zombie? On fire? One that could stretch it's rotten body to any size? A ghost like zombie that can create invisible traps for you? Bad, just, just, all bad man. I bet poor Victor is thinking the old Fantastic Four were kinda okay right about now.

Haha I forgot how much I like drawing Ironman (Iron man? Iron-man?)! I chose him for Marvel zombies, because I had the idea of the armor on his hands and arms being covered in the blood. And him not knowing how to remove his mask and just mashing his face against people.

MARVEL ZOMBIES by David Cutler

It's been a busy week, but here my zombies are. Good excuse to draw my two favorite (male) X-Men and my favorite comic book rivalry. I'm not very original with my X-Men faves, I know. I just love characters who come with their own sound effect. Every time these guys scrap it's a cacophony of snikts and zakts.

While drawing this I thought about the new DC comics redesigns and the death of the underpants on the outside look for superheroes. Marvel phased it out so gradually I barely even noticed. Here's to you, underoos.

Yeah this one was so fun, just wish I had some more time to put into it this week but thats life. Love the old Luke Cage costume and thought it would be a good character to zombify.
