Like every other week I say the character we're doing is my favorite something or other, but Cyke and Emma really are my two favorite X-Men and favorite comic book romance. Really great holiday theme pick from Selena!

MARVEL ZOMBIES by David Cutler

It's been a busy week, but here my zombies are. Good excuse to draw my two favorite (male) X-Men and my favorite comic book rivalry. I'm not very original with my X-Men faves, I know. I just love characters who come with their own sound effect. Every time these guys scrap it's a cacophony of snikts and zakts.

While drawing this I thought about the new DC comics redesigns and the death of the underpants on the outside look for superheroes. Marvel phased it out so gradually I barely even noticed. Here's to you, underoos.
